Items needed for the ride.

  I encourage everyone to be as self sufficient as possible during the ride. You should be able to change a inner tube or repair it. In the event you are unable to do it, you may have to wait a long time for the next support vehicle to come and help.

    Here are just a couple of thoughts prior to the ride.

    Be sure to pack or have ready...

1.      Helmet (mandatory for the ride!)

2.      Lights for the bike (mandatory

3.      Spare cycling clothes (shoes, soxs, shorts, shirts)

4.      Street clothes (as you desire, shorts, shoes, shirts, underwear, socks)

5.      Prescription Medication

6.      Petroleum Jelly

7.      Diet Supplements

8.      Sun Block

9.      Aspirin

10.  Plastic Bag (large trash bag good for rain or dirty laundry)

11.  Toilet Articles (toothpaste, toothbrush, comb/brush, razor, deodorant)          

12.  10.  Soap      and shampoo available at hotel.

13.  Sunglasses

14.  Spare inner tube (s), lube, tools, patch kit

17.  bike pack (fanny pack or bike bag to hold spare, pump & band aids)
