From the very beginning, we wanted to have a tremendously positive impact on
the AIDS community of Broward County.
Many of you may be familiar with the commercialized AIDS rides, which have taken
place over the past few years. While we believed the intent of these mega events
was worthwhile, we had a problem that such a small percentage of the funds
raised actually went to the intended AIDS organizations. We made and continue to
make our commitment that 100% of the money we raise will go to
those who really need it, and not toward promotional costs. To date, we have
cumulatively generated over $500,000 for Tuesday's Angels and they in turn have
given that money to those who need it most.
