To date 11 years later the 100%solution bike ride for life has raised over $700,000.

Every
year’s 308 mile
roundtrip ride along A1A is to Melbourne Beach and back. Each
rider absorbs any costs incurred for training and the ride (e.g., equipment,
housing, food and drinks). The bikers start out at 6:00 am Friday morning and
return to Fort Lauderdale by sundown Sunday. To accomplish the excursion, some
of the riders
will peddle for up to 30 hours. To achieve proper conditioning, participants will accumulate
from 700 miles
and 70 hours, to thousands of miles and countless hours on their bikes.
